This limited-edition Art Deco lounge chair is the result of a vibrant collaboration between Flippers and the colourful lifestyle brand Sunset Soda.
The chair arrived with beautiful Art Deco bones: curved hardwood arms, striking geometry, and a timeless silhouette that deserved a fresh moment in the spotlight. Inspired by Sunset Soda’s playful personality and uplifting colour palette, we set out to give this classic piece a bold new identity.
We carefully refurbished the wood, restoring the warmth and richness of its original structure. Then, guided by Sunset Soda’s unique artistic flair, we selected a combination of textured blue upholstery and patterned side panels that bring softness, personality, and modern energy to the chair’s strong architectural form.
Every choice from the fabric textures to the finish of the timber reflects the merging of two creative worlds:
